Grand Theft Auto IV

Grand Theft Auto IV is an open-world action-adventure video game developed by Rockstar North and published by Rockstar Games, originally released on April 29, 2008 for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

The game takes place in a modern-day Liberty City, a parody of New York City, and in the state of Alderney (New Jersey).

The player takes control of Niko Bellic, a former Serbian soldier who arrives in the city seeking revenge for a betrayal he suffered during the war.

Additionally, the game introduces the phone mechanic: through it, the player can receive calls from contacts to unlock missions, or make calls to carry out side activities with friends or partners.
