Grand Theft Auto V

Grand Theft Auto V is an open-world action-adventure video game developed by Rockstar North and published by Rockstar Games, originally released for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on September 17, 2013. It also has versions for eighth-generation consoles (PlayStation 4 and Xbox One) called "Enhanced", and for ninth-generation consoles (PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S) called "Expanded & Enhanced".

The story takes place in Los Santos, a parody of Los Angeles, and in Blaine County, corresponding to the California desert. The player takes control of three characters: Michael De Santa, Franklin Clinton, and Trevor Philips.

It's the second best-selling video game of all time, with 230 million copies sold to date, surpassed only by Minecraft.
